i helped my friend move haphazardly from auburn to mobile today. we PACKED her borrowed truck, tied it down with brittle, thin plastic rope, and drove out , all after the storm had passt over i65 (the route). this being 4pm, the departure. 6 pm being when we actually got on the road for real. A bag of her clothes fell off the bed, we had to tie down several Xs. we found the clothes, survived personal breakdowns, and sufficed, and got cramped. oh to lament, oh to go nowhere.

i've returned, and mist So brown, a local folk artist whom's recording i really enjoy and want to hear live. But, i have found she is playing next weekend, so the fates are neutral in fact.
